The Della K. Chewning Kidney Fund was established in honor of the mother of the founder and president of Virtuous Enterprises, Inc. Della K. Chewning was a kidney dialysis patient for over twenty-one years due to chronic kidney failure and lost her battle to this disease in 1995. The fund provides low-income kidney dialysis patients free nutritional packages and supplements i.e. Boost-Plus) to reduce the risk of improper nutrition, health, and medical treatment. ME FirstIs a leadership development and mentoring program for middle and high schools girls in Prince George's County, Maryland. The program's purpose is to help teenage girls transform into powerful leaders, change agents, and women through training, mentoring, counseling, and moral support.

Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Certification Training Program
Is a 16-week
Maryland State Approved training program to prepare participants to pass one or more proficiency exams in one or more Microsoft Office products (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Access), to earn an
MOS certification and to prepare participants for technology-oriented careers. Learning topics of the MOS program consist of introductory, intermediate, and advanced skills in word processing, spreadsheet, database, presentation, and electronic email.

Mobile Employment and Technology Training (METT)Is a training and development program that helps homeless women return to economic independence with life, employment, technology and career development training services. To ensure that childcare and transportation barriers do not create obstacles for METT participants, training is provided with laptop computers.
Savvy Tech GirlsA program designed to increase the percentage of women college graduates in computer science, engineering, and computer information systems. The goal of Savvy Tech Girls is to (1) help educationally challenged girls build confidence, self-esteem, and a positive vision for their future in technology, (2) help them learn and integrate technology into their daily lives, (3) to strengthen girls' ability to succeed and/or excel in math and science with mentoring and tutorial assistance, and (4) orient girls in the technology discipline and profession to maximize their learning and interest in technology or engineering careers. The program is offered as a an after-school program, summer camp, and Saturday Boot Camp.
Sister Empowerment Circle
Is a support group to help women heads-of-households achieve economic independence and sustainability through group mentoring, coaching, and fellowship.
Starting Over for Economic Independence (SOFEI)
Is a sixteen-week entrepreneur program that prepares low-income women-headed, householders to start and grow a business through training and development, mentoring and coaching, technical assistance, and mini-grants.

Women Increasing their Net Worth (WIN)
The goal of WIN is to teach 100 women-headed, householders in the Washington Metropolitan Area how to increase their net worth through,
Financial Literacy, Saving and Investing, and Homeownership by year 2009. The program was launched in November 2006 from a Stepping Stones grant from the
Washington Area Women's Foundation and through the partnerships with The Ari Group, Industrial Bank, Navy Federal Credit Union (Suitland Branch), Unity Economic Development Corporation, and the Housing Counseling Services.
Women Inspired by Successful Employment (WISE)
Many women of retirement years are supplementing their income to meet their basic living, medical, or care-giving expenses by returning to the workforce. W.I.S.E. is a twelve-week program that prepares this group to successfully transition to the workforce with career development, employment specialty, and money management training on Wednesdays from 9 am - 2 pm.
