Creating & Maintaining Life Balance - This workshop will help individuals to better manage stress in their lives.

Effective Business Writing - The ability to express ideas clearly is important to succeed in work and business environments. Workshop participants will learn effective strategies to sharpen their writing skills, structure ideas logically, exercise diplomacy in letters and reports, and shape sound arguments.

Effective Career Search Strategies - Many people don't get the careers they desire because they lack the skills to secure them. This workshop will teach participants, where the jobs are, what the employers want, and how to wow the hiring manager - even with little or no experience. This workshop will also teach participants how to make their resume work like a professional sales brochure.

Effective Presentations - Workshop participants will gain active listening skills to facilitate and exchange ideas during meetings and presentations; learn how to organize ideas to create convincing oral presentations, and use public speaking techniques to strengthen their presentation delivery.

Fundamentals of Communication - This workshop provides an overview of the basic principles of business communication. It provides guidelines and best practices on how to effectively converse in the workplace to improve productivity and mutual understanding in culturally diverse business organizations.

Fundamentals of Customer Service - This workshop provides guidelines and best practices for providing excellent customer service that will enable frontline associates and service staff in back-up and support positions build, maintain, and increase a loyal customer based.

Intranets and Extranets: An Introduction - Participants will be given an introduction to intranets and extranets, including the different components and applications that are enabled by intranets and extranets. Upon successful completion of the course, participants will be able to discuss how to plan and build an intranet as well as the different issues involved in managing it. Participants will also be able to describe the various components of several different extranet configurations. Prerequisites Introduction to the Internet and a basic understanding of computer networking.

Introduction to Networking - Computers are everywhere. We use them in almost every aspect of our lives whether we realize it or not. But it's not just the computers themselves that make all the technology so useful and interesting; it's the way they interconnect and work together that creates a truly amazing tool. That's what a network does, connects computers together. In this course, you will be introduced to the Internet and Networks.

Introduction to Personal Computers Using - Windows XP - Participants will learn basic computer concepts and skills related to IBM and compatible computers and will receive a thorough introduction to the hardware components of a personal computer.

Introduction to Windows XP - This course provides a broad foundation for trainees so that they will have a greater awareness and confidence using personal computers. Trainees will gain practical information and skills, such as what a computer is, how to manage personal files and folders that they create, and how to use many of the programs that come with Windows XP.

Managing Innovation & Creative Ideas - Businesses are constantly looking for innovative ideas that will put them one step ahead of their competitors. In order to arrive at a truly new idea, a team leader or manager must understand how to manage the innovation process. This course offers effective managerial strategies that address the organizational aspects of managing a creative team, supporting that creativity, moving an idea to implementation, and troubleshooting ideas to help guide a team through the innovation process.

Out of Hock Out of Debt - This is a crash workshop to teach participants how to eliminate debt through practical debt reducing concepts.

Practical Leadership - This workshop is for new managers or individuals seeking to develop or enhance their leadership skills to succeed in any business environment. Upon completion of the workshop, participants will be able to transition from the role of individual contributor to an effective leader.

Stop Thinking Like an Employee - Did you know that half of all newly hired employees fail within 18 months of starting a new job? Surprisingly, they don't fail because they can't do the job. They fail because they aren't cooperative. This workshop will teach you what's expected in the new workplace and how to "WOW your new manager, turn an entry-level job into fascinating work with unlimited possibilities, how to self-motivate, how to work with tough managers, difficult people, office politics, and use EQ to interpret other people's intentions.

Surviving a Layoff - This workshop will teach participants how to cope with the anger and hurt of being laid off; how to manage their money, and strategies to get off the unemployment roll quickly.

Time Management - Time is a form of currency, and the ways that we talk about it illustrate its value: we say "Time is money," and "My time was well spent," or "It's a waste of time." Like most professionals, you've probably struggled with managing this resource effectively. In this course, you will practice techniques that will help you achieve more effective use of your time so that you can direct your energy towards the activities that will further your professional and personal goals.
